The local Tatts Hotel syndicate that gained a slot in Saturdays $2 million Kosciuszko are preparing for a big weekend in Sydney.

The TATTS Hotel syndicate is one of 14 whose number was drawn out by Racing NSW last month and have selected the David McColm-trained Far Too Easy in the country-only feature at Royal Randwick.

Far Too Easy is already a two-time Kosciuszko ‘veteran’ having finished second and third in the last two editions of the event and will have Group 1 winning jockey Craig Williams booked for the ride.

It’s a major comeback for the horse after being diagnosed with acute colitis, which is a bug in the colon, with Mr McHolm saying there was a point he really didn’t think the horse was going to make it but, being the horse he is … a fighter … with treatment and care he came through it.
